Your license key was emailed to the address you used at checkout. Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it. The key starts with "GOATEQ-". You can also find it on your account page at goataudio.co/account.

Download GOAT EQ from goataudio.co/download. Unzip and copy the VST3 (and AU on macOS) to your plugin directory: macOS — /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/, Windows — C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\, Linux — ~/.vst3/. Rescan plugins in your DAW, then open GOAT EQ and enter your license key or start a free 14-day trial.

Try rescanning your plugins in your DAW's preferences. Make sure you're using a 64-bit DAW. On macOS, you may need to allow the plugin in System Settings > Privacy & Security.

Yes. Your license can be activated on up to 2 machines. You can deactivate a machine from your account at goataudio.co/account or from within the plugin. Note: a 30-day cooldown applies after deactivation before that slot can be used for a new machine.

Deactivate on your old machine first (from the plugin or at goataudio.co/account), then activate on your new machine with the same key. A 30-day cooldown applies after deactivation — you'll need to wait before the freed slot accepts a new machine. If you no longer have access to the old machine, contact us at support@goataudio.co.

Yes. GOAT EQ includes a 14-day free trial with full functionality — no credit card required. Visit goataudio.co/trial, verify your email, and you'll receive a trial code. Enter the code in the plugin to activate your trial.
